Il fait ses études de théâtre, danse classique, danse contemporaine et tango argentin en Argentine et en France.
En 2000, à Paris, il crée et dirige le groupe artistique Laboratorio C. composé de musiciens, danseurs et comédiens avec lequel il produit diverses créations scéniques, des réalisations vidéos et des performances.
Il crée, produit et dirige ses spectacles. Il axe son travail de création et d'investigation aux frontières du tango, du théâtre, de la danse contemporaine et de la musique.
Ses œuvres ont été présentées en France, Espagne, Norvège, Japon, Argentine, Uruguay et Équateur.
Plusieurs de ses créations ont comme dénominateur commun le tango argentin. Notamment les pièces « Tango Rojo » avec Ezequiel Farfaro, « Cuando Dora conocio a Picasso » (création à Madrid ) et des performances comme « Orquidee » ou « Tango prohibido ».
Entant que danseur du tango et chorégraphe il travaille dans des théâtres renommés au Japon.
Sa danse est chargée de matisses et d'une forte présence scénique.
Il est organisateur et directeur artistique du milonga « Tango en Red », « El Corazón des Abbesses » à Paris et le festival « Estancia Tango » en Normandie. Il entretien des liens artistiques réguliers avec le « Milonga Zerohour » à Tokyo.
Actuellement il travaille dans le film “Tout ça pour un Tango” avec Pabl
o Inza, Angie Gonzalez et Laetita Spigarelli dans le cadre de la résidence en Mayenne produite par Atmosphères Cinéma

Julieta Barrionuevo, gymnast, dancer and musician , Certified GYROKINESIS® Instructor ,was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

As a child, and for 7 years, she was part of the Rhythmic Gymnastic Team Velez Sarsfield, competing in National Championships, where she had Ballet classes, Introduction to Movement and Corporal  Expression, as part of her training.  Then it was when she had her first contact with Tango, performing a competition with her hoop to the music of Anibal Troilo, El Choclo.

At the age of 9, she started Piano lessons, graduating 10 years later as a Piano and Music Theory Professor, in the Santa Cecilia’s Conservatory of Music.

Julieta gives credit to her father for instilling her passionate love for Tango. She took her first Tango classes with Nito and Elba, in the Legendary Club Gricel, in 1998. Since then, she has been exploring the dance of Tango, from the technique to the music interpretation of it. Searching always for the improvement of her dance she studied with the most recognized professors, such as Mariano Chicho Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda, Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Olga Besio, Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte, Soledad Larretapia and Ricardo Biggeri, Carla Marano, Gaston Torelli y Moira Castellano, Mariela Sametband, Noelia Hurtado, Sebastian Arce y Mariana Montes, among others.

She lived in Los Angeles, and for many years, she was part of the School of the Wenta Ballet. She also studied Jazz, Modern and took the intensives workshops with Diavolo Dance Theater. She also was a cheerleader for Chivas USA Major League Soccer Team, where she did live dance performances, press appearances and television events.

Her passion for movement led her  to study different disciplines such as Fendelkrais, The Franklin Method  and Gyrokinesis. Methods that give a big contribution and important tools in to the deepening  of her dance and the teaching of it .
Her passion and commitment with Tango take her to the continuous research and investigation of the roots and the evolution of the dance.

Josefina is a tango dancer and performer from Argentina. At the age of six, she began her artistic career as a ballet dancer. Later on, she discovered her passion for theatre and music, thus she left dance aside in order to devote herself to acting and her piano studies.
When she was eighteen, she moved to Buenos Aires, in order to learn and explore this language that had captivated her heart. She had the chance to learn with a great scope of teachers and dancers. Some of her widely renowned teachers were Corina de la Rosa, Fabian Salas, Cecilia Garcia, Leonardo Cuello, Federico Naveira, Dana Frigoli and Pablo Veron.
Her extensive Tango career, not to mention contemporary dance and Argentine folk dance, had nourished her and made of Josefina an artist with a great creative and interprative ability. She had the chance to show her talient at several tango houses, such as the legendary Café Tortoni as well as at the IUNA Tango Company, where she danced for three years directed by the well-known choreographer Leonardo Cuello.
As a teacher, she was part of teachers' teams at schools such as the Argentine Tango School, Dandy Mansión Tango, El Querandí in Buenos Aires, Santa Milonguita in Tandil, Espace Oxigene in Paris, Milonga du Jeudi in Lyon, Tango Art in Reading, and with us, Rojo y Negro in London.
Currently, Josefina works in the Tango Nuevo school in Krakow, Poland, giving workshops around Europe.
